Q. A 5 years old boy presented with cold for 10 days and fever at onset that lasted for 2 days. Child was treated with syrup containing paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and chlorpheneramine agents but he had no relief in the symptoms. He also used to get night time cough and severe bouts of coughing {wet in nature} in the mornings. There is no earache or pain in throat. He has no difficulty in breathing except when there is a nasal block, he breathes from the mouth. On examination, he has tenderness over the maxillary region and mucopurulent nasal discharge. Throat and chest examination is normal. Ears are normal. Other systems are normal.
